Job Description

We are seeking a Regional Health & Safety Manager. 

Join us as a Regional Health and Safety Manager in Auckland. This role offers career growth within our organisation. 

You'll lead our Health and Safety team, ensuring effective safety systems implementation. Your responsibilities include managing safety operations, contributing to strategic decisions, assigning staff to projects, and providing coaching.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: 

  • Hold a relevant qualification in Health & Safety or a related field 
  • Solid understanding of construction industry health and safety standards 
  • Proficiency in developing solid relationships and acting as a coach and mentor to ensure staff always operate in the safest manner 
  • Ability to implement a Health and Safety operating system and support project teams in achieving best practices and strong employee engagement 

About You: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail 
  • Skill in influencing and negotiating within a team 
  • Ability to lead a team of safety professionals, provide outstanding service to operational teams, and be recognised as a technical expert in your field 
  • Ability to coach and guide staff to enhance their technical competence in safety system requirements.
